It’s been quite cloudy last couple of days, proving to be a little hard to find motivation to go for a run. Sometimes I don’t even need motivation, even if it’s pouring rain, I just get my sneakers and I’m out exploring the amazing nature.
When lack of motivation or mood appears I try to remember other trails that I have run and proved to be amazing choices, in order to give a little push to that desire. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. One of the places I often “revisit” is the trail on Mount Maunganui in Tauranga, New Zealand.
The images from those running sessions are still so fresh and vivid. The scenery is just gorgeous and it gives you so much energy. If you ever find yourself in that corner of the world, you have to do the trail. Running, walking, either way it’s worth it. The trail is easy and accessible.
Because some of you asked, I am just an occasional runner and preferably in the nature (you will never find me on a treadmill). I found it to be the best way to relief stress. Well, running and… knitting.
What’s your best way to relief stress?
