Unexpected vacation

It’s amazing how you can discover new things about your partner. Of course, we change through the years, but it’s still nice when they surprise you with their actions.

At the end of last month (around the 17th), my partner forwarded me an e-mail. At first, I didn’t pay attention to the content (or the title), I just started reading it absently. After realizing (from the content) that I had to do something until the 20th…I started reading again, but focused. It was our flight details and vacation reservation in Corfu, starting in 3 days!!!

I should of known. The subject of the e-mail was “Pack your bags” :), and he wouldn’t stop fidgeting for the last 2 hours. R was waiting for my reaction, and I was totally  unaware.

Now you can understand my absence lately. And of course, all good (and bad) things come accompanied. When we came back I started a new collaboration, I had to run for a couple of days to my hometown (by train, another story there), we managed to do a weekend escape and we went camping to the Black Sea. So my personal projects had to wait, but it was worth it. All things in good times!

In conclusion, I will try for the next few posts to tell you about our vacations, in order to keep my memories (and state of mind of those moments) alive.

Little preview/tease

Happy Thursday!
